Report from the trade mission to Warsaw Build fair

On January 31 – February 4, 2022, a trade mission of foreign contractors from the Construction and Finishing of Buildings industry to Poland took place. Its aim was to create conditions for direct contact of foreign contractors with Polish entrepreneurs, which would lead to establishing economic cooperation and international promotion of the Polish industry.

The participants of the mission were entrepreneurs from the most prospective markets outside the EU, including: Albania, Belarus, Iran, Israel, Turkey and Ukraine. We hope that the mission will contribute to the increase in the export of Polish construction products to many new countries for the industry. What is more, thanks to the participation of a foreign journalist in the mission, articles describing Polish industry in foreign industry media will be published.

The agenda of the mission included meetings with Polish producers, including visits to the production plants of the following companies: Blachy Pruszyński in Sokołów, KOSBUD in Dziękownia and MIROX in Pobiedziska. A meeting with the representatives of the Polish Construction Cluster was organized, during which a comprehensive picture of the Polish industry, its operating conditions, and the companies associated in the cluster were presented. The mission participants also visited the YouNickTechnology Park.

An important component of the mission was a visit to the BUDMA 2022 International Construction and Architecture Fair in Poznań. It was a unique opportunity to present Polish producers from the construction industry together with their products in one place. This resulted in establishing successful business relations between the mission participants and Polish companies.

BUDMA fair is one of the largest events related to construction technologies and materials in Poland. The offer of nearly 1,000 companies from Poland and abroad was presented there.

In addition to industry meetings, the mission was also an opportunity to promote Polish culture, history and tourist values of Poland, through, among others, exploring the most interesting places of the cities visited.
