On November 9-13, 2022, the 45th edition of EIMA International took place in Bologna, one of the world’s largest events dedicated to agricultural machinery and technologies. This year’s event was visited by a record number of 327,100 people.
19 companies from Poland decided to participate in the event as exhibitors. Regardless of this, Polish entrepreneurs took advantage of the opportunities provided by the Polish Information and Promotion Stand organized at the fair and participated in the economic mission related to the fair.
At the Polish Information and Promotion Stand, Polish companies could make their company catalogs available to visitors and present promotional films. A specially designated VIP zone was used by entrepreneurs to hold B2B meetings and conduct their own promotional activities. Additional support for Polish entrepreneurs was provided by an industry expert, Mr. Adam Ekielski, who was present at the stand.
In addition, a press briefing and meetings with Mrs. Ewa Trzcińska from the Polish Chamber of Business in Italy and Mrs. Aleksandra Leoncewicz from the Foreign Trade Office in Italy were organized at the stand, during which Polish entrepreneurs learned about the specifics of the Italian market and received valuable advice on how to prepare their companies for export activity.
In the program of the economic mission, in addition to expert presentations, visits to the plant of the agricultural machinery manufacturer Martignani and B2B meetings with foreign contractors, Polish entrepreneurs had the opportunity to talk and integrate among themselves, e.g. by participating in a joint dinner or visiting Bologna with a guide.
The EIMA Bologna Fair is the last fair event as part of the Industry Promotion Program for Machines and Devices implemented in 2020-2022 by the Ministry of Development and Technology, where an information and promotion stand was organized.
