Report from Bauma Munich fair

On October 24-30, 2022, the Bauma fair took place in Munich, one of the world’s largest events dedicated to construction, production and mining machines and technologies. The event was attended by 3,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries, including 47 from Poland. Regardless of this, Polish entrepreneurs took advantage of the opportunities provided by the Polish Information and Promotion Stand organized at the fair and participated in the economic mission related to the fair.

At the Polish Information and Promotion Stand, Polish companies could make their company catalogs available to visitors and present promotional films. A specially designated VIP zone was used by entrepreneurs to hold B2B meetings and conduct their own promotional activities. Additional support for Polish entrepreneurs was provided by industry expert Piotr Wasilewski present at the stand.

In addition, a press briefing and a meeting with Dorota Kafara from the Foreign Trade Office in Germany were organized at the stand, during which Polish entrepreneurs learned about the specifics of the German market and received valuable advice on how to prepare their companies for export activity.

In the program of the economic mission, in addition to expert presentations, B2B meetings with foreign contractors and visits to a local enterprise, Polish entrepreneurs had the opportunity to talk and integrate among themselves, e.g. by participating in a joint dinner or visiting Munich with a guide.

The Bauma Fair is the fifth of six fair events as part of the Industry Promotion Program for Machines and Devices implemented in 2020-2022 by the Ministry of Development and Technology, where an information and promotion stand was organized.
